Delta Gamma’s Anchor Splash 2024

In my role as Director of Anchor Splash, I spent months planning our chapter’s week-long philanthropy event. From coordinating with various departments to booking venues, I led chapter involvement, collaborated with the foundation team, and managed all the details to ensure the event ran smoothly, especially for the two large events of the week. Our chapter successfully raised over $7,000 in donations. It was an invaluable experience in leadership, teamwork, and event management.

Throughout the planning process of Anchor Splash, I further developed my skills in teamwork, time management, and event coordination. I learned the importance of collaborating with others and planning well in advance to ensure everything ran smoothly. This experience gave me a true understanding of the effort required to execute a successful event, from managing logistics to juggling multiple tasks at once.

After leading Anchor Splash, I was elected to be the Vice President of Foundation by my sorority chapter. In this role, I'll guide the Foundation team, lead our philanthropic efforts, and find new ways to raise awareness and educate others about our work.
